Christmas 2009

I realize I'm really behind posting about Christmas. After Christmas is over, I'm always a little sad that everything is over. All the wonderful music, the food, being with family, the opportunity to celebrate our Savior, it's all so fabulous and then I wake up Christmas morning knowing this is the end of it all...at least until next year. After the holidays it seems to take me a couple of weeks to get everything back in order and get back into a normal routine. So here I am making time to write about our Christmas, after all it has been over two weeks.
We spent Christmas in South Carolina with Justin's family this year. It was really fun to go back and reminisce about the fun times we had when we lived there. We really appreciated the warmer weather (50 degrees) as opposed to the neg. temps that Iowa was having. It was also good to see a few of the friends we had there, although there wasn't enough time to see everyone! The best part of the trip was seeing Mom and Dad Hooker, Grandma Hooker, Aunt Diane, Josh & Stephanie, and Jasmin. Kobe and Lily, loved spending time with "Mah-ga, and Pah-ga" and of course were spoiled rotten! We were able to eat at some of our favorite restuarants and see a few blockbusters as well. We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to go back!

Our only family picture of the entire trip. Wearing our Christmas pjs that I made myself!
