The kids are now old enough to remember what we did last year and they get really excited about the traditions we have. Days before Easter Saturday they talk about having to find their Easter baskets because the Easter bunny hides them.
Lily found hers in the trash can under a broken pinata.
Jaxon was soooo excited about his first Easter!
Kobe found his in the food cupboard. It didn't take him long to dig right in. Peeps for breakfast, YUM!
We were invited to the Johnson's house for a potluck breakfast and egg hunt. We are lucky to have met so many wonderful people that enjoy getting together. It was a fun morning.
We really enjoy keeping our "fun" Easter traditions on Saturday so Sunday we can focus on the Resurrection of the Savior. I'm still looking for traditions we can start for Easter day, but for now we will just enjoy talking about it with the kids and having a nice Sunday dinner.
