October is always a fun month. It finally starts to cool off, although this year it stayed pretty hot, and there are a lot of fun activities!
Grandma Hubbard sent a really fun Halloween package early in the month so we could play with the stuff all month long. This fun skeleton was a favorite!
Kobe started his basketball career this month and though he new almost nothing about the sport when he started, he improved ALOT as the season went on.
Who knows, maybe he'll be the next Kobe Bryant!
Brielle turned 2 months old in October. Time is going CRAZY fast!
She is smiling all the time now, but it is impossible to catch on camera.
Brielle is a funny girl, if she is playing on the floor when she gets
tired, she just puts herself to sleep. Many times I have had to move her
from the floor to her bed.
The kids still just love and adore her. Jaxon is always asking to hold her. He likes nothing more than to watch Mickey Mouse with Brielle!
After a lot of begging by Justin and the kids, I finally gave in and we bought pumpkins to carve.
This year for Halloween we went to a
carnival at the kids' school the week before and then on Halloween we
went to the ward's Trunk-or-Treat. We had so much candy we recycled our
candy from the first event and used it to give out on Halloween, and we
still had more than enough to eat for the next month!
For
costumes I was pretty excited when the kids all wanted to dress up
using the costumes we already had. It made my job cheap and easy!
Cutest kids ever--at least in my most humble opinion!
