Swimming

We went swimming twice on our trip, and the kids LOVED playing in the giant swimming pools. Both times it took Kobe a while to warm up to the idea of not being able to touch the bottom, while Lily jumped in a tube and started kicking around.  The first day in Utah we drove straight from the airport to Provo to my sister Kellie's apartment to go swimming in her pool. I of course didn't have my camera, so no pictures. It was still fun even if I can't prove it! And when we were done in the water we all walked down to a little road stand and bought the best shaved ice treat ever! I can't remember the name of the place but the experience was very memorable! It was a good start to our trip.

The next time we went swimming was on our last day in Utah. My brother-in-law Jared was having a work party for his employees and their families and he was kind enough to invite all of us to crash the party. It was a blast, and the food was fantastic!

I love this picture of Lily, those goggles make me laugh!

There was this giant (for a kid) slide and Kobe made it all the way to the top of the steps and turned around and walked down them. Lily on the other hand went down the slide at least twenty times. She is such a dare devil for such a little girl.

Once Kobe warmed up to the water, he didn't want to leave. He loves the water, we just need to get him into swimming lessons so he feels more comfortable in it.

We had such wonderful experiences in Utah, as we always do, and really enjoyed all the fun times with family. However, after two weeks we were ready to go home and see Justin again, we sure missed him!
